Rashmika Mandanna will now be seen opposite Salman Khan in 'Sikandar'

Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is currently enjoying a dream run in films, will play the female lead in the upcoming Salman Khan starrer 'Sikander'.

This is the first collaboration between Salman and Rashmika.

'Sikandar' film A.R. Murugadoss is known for his films 'Ghajini' and 'Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty'.

On Thursday, the makers of the film announced Rashmika joining the cast.

They posted on X: “Welcome to the amazing @rashmika_mandanna to star opposite @BeingSalmanKhan in #Sikandar! Can't wait to unleash their on-screen magic on EID 2025! #Sajid Nadiadwala's #Sikandar directed by @a.r.murugadoss releasing on EID 2025."

The film was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala's Grandson Entertainment as Salman reunited with Sajid after his 2014 release 'Kick'.

Currently in pre-production, the film is slated to go on floors soon and release on Eid 2025.

Meanwhile, Rashmika, who was last seen in the blockbuster 'Animal' with Ranbir Kapoor, also has Allu Arjun starrer 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' in which she will reprise the role of Srivalli.
