Actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who will soon be seen as a contestant in the upcoming season of stunt-based reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14', shares that she learned the importance of recovery during her fitness journey.
The actress prepared herself physically and mentally for the show for eight weeks. She shares that in addition to MMA, her regimen includes increased strength training and mobility exercises to help her gain the flexibility needed to pull off tasks on the show.
"I was already on a fitness journey, but I had to dial things back. I had to prepare for any activity that was physically and mentally stressful. MMA was a game-changer for me."
The actress recently made headlines for her inspiring weight loss journey. She spent time preparing mentally by reintroducing breathing techniques and meditation into her fitness regimen, and physically, she spent time learning new skills, including kickboxing.
