Madhu in the role of Panna in Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa

Actress Madhu, who is known for films like 'Roja', 'Ottayal Pattalam' and 'Ennodishtam Bhamamo', is all set to essay the role of Panna in the upcoming pan-India film 'Kannappa'.The makers shared the poster of the actress on Monday. In the poster, she is seen wearing an ancient dress and holding a sword with a fierce look on her face.

The makers wrote in the caption, “Featuring @madhoo_rockstar as #Panna; Head of the clan with a fearsome & dare-devil spirit, she is a force to be reckoned with."

Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Sarath Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas and others are acting in this film.

The teaser of the film was unveiled last month and features several battle scenes and Vishnu Manchu as the title character takes on a group of bandits leading to the destruction of a village using primitive weapons. It also gives a glimpse of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as Shiva.

This is Akshay Kumar's second film in the role of Shiva after last year's successful 'OMG 2'.

The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and combines stunning visuals with a poignant narrative, bringing to life the epic tale of devotion and sacrifice. It was shot all over New Zealand and starred talented artists from India's film industry.
