Kareena Kapoor Khan walks alone in 'The Buckingham Murders' poster

The poster of Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer 'The Buckingham Murders' was released on Monday. It shows Kareena walking down the cold London streets with her back to the camera.

The poster exudes an air of mystery and intrigue, capturing the essence of the film's thrilling narrative. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta, known for 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story', 'Aligarh', 'Shahid' and others.

The teaser of this film will be released on Tuesday. The film also stars Ash Tandon, celebrity chef Ranveer Brar and Keith Allen. It was written by Asim Arora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakkar.

In 'The Buckingham Murders', Kareena plays Jasmeet Bhamra, a British-Indian detective who recently lost her child. She was assigned the case of a 10-year-old girl who was murdered in Buckinghamshire. The film is a police procedural drama, and Kareena will be seen in an unprecedented role, far removed from her previous work on celluloid.

The film is said to be in English and Hindi and 80% of the dialogues are in English. It is backed by Ekta R Kapoor and marks another collaboration between her and Kareena after 'Crew' and 'Veere Di Wedding'.

'The Buckingham Murders' premiered at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023. It also served as the opening film for the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival. According to media reports, Hansal Mehta revealed that the film will mark the first part of the planned franchise
