Barkha Bisht: I never felt like leaving television

Barkha Bisht, who is back after a long hiatus, shares that even though she was away from television for a while, the actress never felt that she had left television.

"Television has always felt like home to me, a place where I can truly connect with my audience and bring life to the characters I play. Even though I have been away from television for a while, I never feel like I have left television," said Barkha.

Currently, the actress is acting in the family drama 'Mera Balan Thanedaar' where she plays the role of Meeti Mai.

Talking about her role, Barkha said: "Playing Meethi Mai in Mera Balan Thanedaar was a very satisfying and enriching experience. The role had a unique approach to the storyline. The journey was filled with love, challenges and wonderful moments. I will cherish it forever."

The actress said that her character will introduce many twists and turns in the lives of Bulbul and Veer (played by Shruti Chaudhary and Shagun Pandey).
